When you think of a wedding in the Caribbean, your first thought is the beach! This is a beach theme with a difference – the boho beach wedding! Boho style is so popular across all mediums of fashion and interior design so lets take a look at the Boho Beach Wedding Theme! There are no limits so enjoy dreaming of saying your vows with sandy toes and salty kisses!

Ceremony For this theme to really work you need to incorporate looks that really bring it to life. Styling the ceremony correctly will ensure your big day is off to the right start!

Get the boho vibe using arches at the altar – teepee styles look really great styled with florals and/or macrame to really nail this look! Keep it rustic and use driftwood to create the arches. Use blankets & rugs to create a colour scheme if necessary! Line your aisle with gorgeous pampas grasses to create a relaxed and pretty vibe!

For the bride don’t be afraid to go barefoot and use gorgeous jewellery on your feet. When getting married on the beach who doesn’t want to feel the sand between their toes! Accessorize with floral headbands and for the fashion forward bride choose a bridal hat. Top tip – forgo the veil as it could be difficult to manage with the sea breeze!

For guests offer a shoe station so everyone can be barefoot if they choose to!

Venue After the ceremony have a ‘zen zone’ for guests to enjoy cocktails and canapes and take in the stunning views of the Caribbean Sea! This allows time for the bridal party to get their photos taken and guests won’t notice the time passing by! Also if you plan to get married late in the evening everyone can enjoy an amazing sunset to boot!

At the venue forego table cloths and instead use table runners to keep that relaxed vibe strong! Accent with crystals, salt candle holders, coloured drinkware and centrepieces that run the length of the table.

Have a picture guest book so guests can take Polaroids and add them to your book as a fun alternative! Also this will be so much fun to look at in the weeks and months after your wedding!
